GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Auctioneers Association of North Carolina made several key initiatives at its annual January Convention on Jan.15-17 at the Embassy Suites in Greensboro.
Will Lilly of Iron Horse Auction Company and a MarkNet Alliance member in Rockingham has been elected President of the AANC at the event’s membership meeting.
Lilly will lead an 11-member board for the AANC, which has been serving auctioneers, auction assistants and their staffs in and around North Carolina for more than 50 years. The AANC has more than 450 members and associates throughout North Carolina and the United States.
Walter House, of House Auction Company and a MarkNet Alliance member in Marshallberg, NC won the Auctioneers Grand Championship, Brian Kurdziolek of Chesterfield, Va., won the Reserve Championship, and Ben Farrell of Ben Farrell Auction & Real Estate in Pittsboro won First Runner-Up.
